Sinolife United reported that revenue for the six months ended 30 June 2026 climbed 18.0% year-on-year to RMB 392.30 million, driven chiefly by continued expansion of its Good Health cross-border e-commerce nutrition-supplement business. Gross profit advanced 26.6% to RMB 308.10 million, lifting the gross margin to 78.5% from 73.2% a year earlier, helped by a higher-margin channel mix.
Despite the top-line and margin gains, profit for the period declined 32.9% to RMB 10.27 million. Management attributed the contraction to a 30.0% surge in selling and distribution expenses to RMB 247.98 million—equal to 63.2% of sales, up 5.8 percentage points—reflecting heavier marketing spend and staffing for the e-commerce push. Administrative expenses remained broadly stable at 10.7% of revenue, while a RMB 5.91 million foreign-exchange loss contrasted with a small gain a year earlier.
Basic earnings per share fell to RMB 1.09 cents from RMB 1.62 cents. The board resolved not to declare an interim dividend.
Operating cash outflow reached RMB 2.70 million versus an inflow of RMB 9.48 million in the prior-year period, and total cash and cash equivalents decreased to RMB 124.49 million from RMB 182.32 million at end-2025, mainly due to higher inventory builds and financing outflows. Inventories rose 36.7% to RMB 106.12 million as the company stocked raw materials and finished goods ahead of expected second-half demand; trade payables expanded to RMB 38.25 million, reflecting earlier procurement.
Interest-bearing borrowings more than doubled to RMB 161.50 million, secured partly by RMB 185.35 million in pledged deposits and RMB 12.02 million in investment property. The gearing ratio increased to 38.5% from 28.9% at end-2025.
Looking ahead, management plans to intensify focus on three e-commerce platforms—Douyin, Tmall and JD.com—deploy AI-driven precision marketing, and accelerate new-product launches following 16 Good Health SKUs introduced in the first half. R&D, supply-chain diversification and overseas distributor expansion remain strategic priorities.
Post-period, shareholders approved the utilisation of RMB 306.00 million in capital and statutory reserves to offset accumulated parent-company losses.
Sinolife United’s audit committee has reviewed the unaudited interim results, and the company affirms compliance with Hong Kong’s Corporate Governance Code and Model Code during the period.
