Bulletin Express
Jun 30

ZHONGKE GP-NEW (Zhongke Group) reported revenue of MOP 31.00 million for the 15 months ended 31 March 2026, a 252.3% increase from MOP 8.83 million in FY 2024, driven by four new fitting-out contracts in Hong Kong. Despite the rebound, the Group recorded a net loss of MOP 43.99 million, narrowing 10.1% year on year, as gross profit turned positive to MOP 3.48 million (gross margin: 11.2%) versus a MOP 4.78 million gross loss previously.

Impairment charges remained heavy at MOP 16.07 million, while administrative expenses rose 23.4% to MOP 23.58 million. Finance costs eased 12.2% to MOP 6.73 million. Basic loss per share improved to MOP 71.68 cents (2024: MOP 80.79 cents). The Board declared no final dividend.

Liquidity pressures intensified. Net current liabilities widened to MOP 98.46 million and total net liabilities reached MOP 104.11 million. Cash and pledged deposits totalled MOP 16.66 million against bank borrowings and overdrafts of MOP 82.71 million, of which MOP 76.57 million fall due within a year. The Group has already missed repayments of approximately MOP 63.57 million after period-end.

Prism Hong Kong Limited issued a disclaimer of opinion, citing “material uncertainties which may cast significant doubt” over the Group’s ability to continue as a going concern.

Management is pursuing several measures: 1) ongoing negotiations with lenders to restructure short-term debt; 2) intensified recovery of long-outstanding trade receivables; 3) expansion of operations in Hong Kong, including potential participation in a HK$60 million theme-park fit-out contract; and 4) additional fund-raising. During the period the Group raised HK$4.61 million via placing 121.12 million new shares and issued a HK$10 million promissory note for working capital.

Headcount fell to 12 employees (2024: 20), trimming staff costs to MOP 8.35 million. No income tax was recorded due to ongoing losses.

Post-period events include a 10-to-1 share consolidation effective 24 April 2026 and the exercise of options adding 5.00 million consolidated shares on 6 May 2026. The Board continues to monitor liquidity and has not proposed a dividend.
