On the evening of October 11, Chinese tennis player Zheng Qinwen sealed the match with a wide ace, defeating newly crowned French Open champion and Russian star Andreeva to capture the China Open women's singles title.

After the match, her commercial partners rushed to release congratulatory posters overnight, with more than ten brands including Qwen, Chagee Holdings Limited, Alipay, Audi, Nike, and vivo posting messages of celebration.

This victory not only earned Zheng Qinwen her first career China Open women's singles title, making history, but also further boosted her commercial value.

Thanks to her outstanding performances at both the US Open and the China Open, Zheng Qinwen's world ranking surged from No. 160 back into the top 30, reclaiming her status as "China's No. 1 female tennis player."

At the same time, the sponsors behind Zheng Qinwen and her commercial value have once again drawn attention.

According to the 2026 Global Tennis Player Earnings List previously published by Forbes, Zheng Qinwen ranked 7th with $22.6 million, of which off-court sponsorship income accounted for $22 million, equivalent to approximately 150 million yuan, making her the only Chinese player in the top ten.

This also means that of the $22.6 million Zheng Qinwen earned over the past 12 months, prize money totaled $600,000, while the remaining $22 million came from off-court endorsements, accounting for more than 97%.

According to an incomplete tally, Zheng Qinwen currently holds more than 10 long-term endorsement deals, covering international brands such as Dior, Rolex, Wilson, and Nike, as well as Chinese brands including Alipay, Qwen, Yili, Chagee Holdings Limited, and vivo.

The endorsement categories span not only sportswear, cosmetics, and luxury goods, but also the automotive, technology, and financial industries.

On-court results drive commercial value.

In January 2024, Zheng Qinwen finished as runner-up in the 2024 Australian Open women's singles, achieving her best Grand Slam result.

In August of the same year, Zheng Qinwen won the Paris Olympics women's singles title, becoming China's first Olympic tennis singles champion.

Zheng Qinwen's commercial value map also experienced an explosion in 2024.

Even when Zheng Qinwen's career entered a low period, her number of endorsements did not decline but instead increased.

It has been observed that after Zheng Qinwen underwent right elbow arthroscopic minimally invasive surgery in July 2025, her form was sluggish, yet long-term partner brands such as Ant Group, Wilson, Beats, and Rolex did not reduce their exposure or investment in her.

Many brands even increased and upgraded their cooperation with her during her low period.

In October 2025, Chagee Holdings Limited upgraded her from Global Health Ambassador to its first Global Brand Ambassador.

In January of this year, Alibaba's AI product Qwen officially announced her as Global Brand Ambassador.

In February, Turkish Airlines announced her as Global Brand Ambassador.

In May, Lancome upgraded Zheng Qinwen's role from Brand Skincare Ambassador to Brand Skincare Spokesperson.

Several industry analysts believe that now, with Zheng Qinwen winning the China Open, her endorsing brands may launch more co-branded products and offline events, and she is also expected to continue adding new endorsements.

A sports marketing analyst stated that Zheng Qinwen's commercial value is not built solely on stacking up championships.

Tennis is one of the most commercially developed women's sports globally, with the four Grand Slams and the WTA Tour covering markets in Europe, the Americas, and Asia.

Zheng Qinwen combines multiple identities including Olympic champion, Grand Slam finalist, and China Open champion, and she is still in the golden age of her career, with a healthy image and strong communication skills, giving her cross-cultural communication advantages.

In areas such as female consumption, sports lifestyle, and the rejuvenation of high-end brands, she is a scarce endorser candidate.
