CLP Holdings (HKG:0002) reported a nearly 3% year-on-year increase in Hong Kong electricity sales to 28,131 gigawatt-hours in the first nine months of 2026, supported by stronger demand across most sectors amid solid economic growth, according to a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing.
Sales to data centers rose 13%, while commercial and manufacturing sales increased 4% and 1%, respectively. Residential sales fell more than 1%.
In mainland China, Daya Bay Nuclear Power Station generated more electricity than a year earlier, while Yangjiang Nuclear Power Station maintained robust output. Average tariffs at Yangjiang declined amid increased market-based sales and strong competition.
Separately, the company declared a third interim dividend of HK$0.63 per share, unchanged from a year earlier, payable Dec. 15 to shareholders on record as of Dec. 4.
Additionally, CLP appointed Philip Lawrence Kadoorie as a vice chairman of the board. Current Vice Chairman Andrew Brandler will remain in the role, with both serving as vice chairmen.
